The project represents a significant investment in advanced manufacturing infrastructure, comprising over 140,000 square feet of purpose-built assembly, integration, and testing space designed to support next-generation naval propulsion systems.
Strategically located within the Charleston metropolitan area, the facility enhances mission-critical capabilities by enabling the manufacturing, integration, and testing of large-scale components for advanced naval electric propulsion systems. The site’s access to regional waterways further supports efficient transportation of oversized assemblies to shipbuilding partners.
Rv3 Solutions served as Full Project Coordinator, providing end-to-end leadership across site selection, land development, economic incentives, design team procurement, and general contractor selection. The firm managed a highly structured and competitive process involving numerous site alternatives, market professionals, complex operational requirements, and coordination among public and private stakeholders.
